Services for Robert Allen Sharfe, Sr., 80, will be held in Rogers Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Monday. Mr. Sharfe, who passed away early Wednesday morning in the Frankfort Regional Medical Center, will be buried in the Frankfort Cemetery. Born in Frankfort on June 22, 1933, Mr. Sharfe was the son of the late Ollie James and Ida Pearl Tipton Sharfe. After attending Frankfort High School, he worked for G.E. and the City of Frankfort and spent over 50 years as a painter. A member of the Light of the World Christian Church, he was a musician and also enjoyed fishing, golfing, and hunting. Survivors include his companion, Anna Rose Chilton; four daughters, Kathy Lynn Johnson, Tina Ann Smith, Lisa Carol Smith, and Barbie Searcy; two sons, Robert Allen Sharfe, Jr. And James Gary Sharfe; a sister, Betty Ann Sharfe; and a brother, Marvin Sharfe. Along with his parents, Mr. Sharfe was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Jean Sharfe; and a brother, Kenneth Sharfe. Bishop Jason W. Green will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Robert C. Green, Chris Meadows, Anthony Presley, Tim Lewis, Robert J. Green, Steve Searcy, and Jeremie Sharfe. Honorary bearers will be Dudley Green, Larry Redding, Bobby Smith, Richard Johnson, Richard Paige, Steve Gabbard, Charlie Wilhoite, and John Smith. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday.
