Obituary of Cherilynn Reagan

Cherilynn D. Reagan, 63, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening at her home. Born in South Bend, Indiana on February 7, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Beverly Joy Bartlow DeRonde. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth R. Briggs (Christopher) of Lexington and Stuart A. Reagan, Jr. of Frankfort; granddaughter Reagan Annelise Briggs; her ex-husband, Stuart A. Reagan, Sr. of Sarasota, Florida; and two sisters, Rebecca Hooker and Teresa De Ronde. A longtime resident of Frankfort, Cherilynn had also lived in Southgate, Kentucky and was currently residing in Lexington. She attended Loveland High School in Ohio as well as Eastern Kentucky University, where she received a B.A. in History and her Masters in Public Administration. She was retired from work with the Cabinet of Human Resources for Kentucky State Government, and was a longtime member of the Frankfort First Presbyterian Church where she was also a Sunday school teacher and deacon; a member and past President of the Frankfort Younger Womans Club, and a board member and supporter of the Frankfort YMCA. Cherilynn was a fan of old movies, loved cooking, travelling, and doting on her granddaughter. Memorial services will be held in Rogers Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m. Monday. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 2:30 p.m. As Cherilynn was a breast cancer survivor, contributions in her memory are suggested to the Susan G.
