Caroline “Polly” Dickinson passed away peacefully at her Frankfort home Wednesday, February 6, at the age of 97. The wife of the late Jack Dickinson, Mrs. Dickinson was the daughter of Rawleigh Armstrong and Susan Caroline Gray. A Franklin County native, Polly was raised in Bridgeport and was a graduate of Frankfort High School. She was a career employee of the state Fish and Wildlife Department, and was a proud member of the South Frankfort Presbyterian Church, the Colonial Dames, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 9, at Rogers Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be Roy Gray, Church Gray, Sam Gray, Layne Wilkerson and Joe Fiala. Mrs. Dickinson will be buried in the Frankfort Cemetery.
