Irvin Greenwell, Sr., 76, husband of Patricia Peyton Greenwell, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016.
Born in Shelbyville on October 2, 1939, Irvin was the son of the late Lena Mae Goodlett and Frank Beard Greenwell.
He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Edwards and Linda Greenwell; two sons, Irvin Lee Greenwell and Mike Greenwell; seven sisters, Barbra Lewis, Frankie Adams, Cindy Austin, Betty Dews, Linda Whittle, Teresa Wright, and Peggy Wright; a brother, Larry Greenwell; five step-children; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 11 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Kay Cook.
Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday with visitation preceding at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Cheslin Lewis, Billy Spaulding II, Larry Greenwell, Danny Dulworth, and Elvis Giles.
