Obituary of Cody Allen Lloyd Emery

Cody Allen Lloyd Emery, 23, of Danville, formerly of Frankfort, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 from injuries he sustained in a car accident.
Born in Frankfort on October 18, 1992, Cody was the son of Susan Watkins and James Stokes of Frankfort. A graduate of Western Hills High School and Bluegrass Community and Technical College, he was employed by Wal-Mart in Danville and was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Lawrenceburg.
Along with his parents, Cody is also survived by his sister Katlin Gray (Logan) of Danville; two brothers, Ronnie Emery and Dylan Emery, both of Frankfort; maternal grandparents, Ronnie and Sharon Brophy of Frankfort; paternal grandparents, Sue Payton of Frankfort and Lee Allan Stokes of Glasgow; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and two nephews.
Services will be held in the Choateville Christian Church at 1:00 p.m. Friday with Bart Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Hill, Todd Hill, David Thornton, Sr., David Thornton, Jr., Jovana Thornton, and Cole Sims.
