Obituary of John Dwayne Hopper

John Dwayne Hopper, 67, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016. Born in Frankfort on September 26, 1948, Johnny was the son of the late Delvia A. and Lillian M. Hopper. He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Baughn and Jonda Hopper; a sister, Shirley Hopper; two brothers, Willie Hopper and Ray Hopper; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Hopper. Johnny was a longtime employee of Central Screw & Crest Products. He was an avid hunter an fisherman and loved the outdoors. He also played softball for several years. After Johnny's health began to decline, he could be found gaming on his Playstation 2 and watching cartoons with is granddaughter Rachel. A memorial service will be held at 1184 Manley Leestown Road at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 5th. Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Baughn, Willie Hopper, Ray Hopper, John Triplett, and Michael Patrick Snavley. Contribution in Johnny's memory are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
