The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Barry James Richard, 72, on Tuesday, September 27th at 10:30am, with visitation beginning at 9:30am at Good Shepherd Church. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery.
Barry died on Tuesday, September 20th at Owen Center in Owenton, KY. Barry was a 1962 graduate of Good Shepherd High School, and in his younger days he was an avid bowler and received many awards. He also recorded the first 700 Series at the old Bowl-A-Way Lanes.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Frances McMullen Richard, his sister, Patricia Richard Devine, and his aunt Julie Hulett. He is survived by his cousin, Michael Hulett.
Many thanks to his caregivers at Grant Center and Owen Center and especially those at Jonesville Rest Home where he was a resident for many years.
