Anna Margaret Columbia, 51, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

Anna was born in Versailles on December 6, 1965, the daughter of the late John William and Ruby Louise Ethington Smith. She leaves behind a sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Chuck Gallagher; a nephew, Michael Kross Vallon; a step-sister, Robin McKinney; and a step-brother, John W. Smith, Jr.

A graduate of Woodford County High School and Morehead State University, Anna worked as an administrative assistant for the Office of Bar Admissions and the Kentucky Bar Association. She was a devout Christian who loved Jesus with all her heart and soul, and was a member of Hope Community Church. Anna's number one hobby was kayaking and she loved days on the water at Cave Run Lake.

A service in celebration of Anna's life will take place at Hope Community Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 23rd. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Contributions in her memory are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Hope Community Church.
