Marilyn was my and my sisters’ aunt, the sister of our mother, Carole Sue. She was so kind, so optimistic, so giving and truly the best aunt not only growing up, where she protected us from “the adults” when our hijinx got out of hand, but such a great person to have in your life as an adult. She was the family historian, with wonderful stories of our relatives , and how we all related to one another. She loved gardening and was truly gifted and knowledgeableI always learned something from her and delighted in her funny stories. I will miss he laughter, her stories and her positive attitude. I’ll miss her clever useful kitchen tools she always gave for Christmas gifts to her neice. She was just a joy to have in our live and she will be truly missed.

I met Marilyn and her friend Mary when my Dad (she called him the Colonel) was in Cardiac Rehab at Frankfort Hospital. We really enjoyed their company! Marilyn had so many good stories about her life and about her family. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She was a lovely lady with a good sense of humor! She will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to all of Marilyn's family. A beautiful warm light has left us here, and is shining brightly in heaven. Marilyn had a lovely smile, she was kind and sweet to everyone. She was one of the 3 remaining 1954 graduating class from Good Shepherd High School; but now there are 2 left on earth. We all love Marilyn, so many of us do because she was so good & always was a wonderful friend. Speaking for my father Ray Moretti, our families will keep her in our prayers until we meet again, where there are no more tears or pain. God bless and keep you all, please accept our sincere sympathy.
