Ron and I were always entertained by Rick when we ate at the White Light whether it be politics or politics or politics, Rick was the best at the banter. We will miss you, Ron and Missy Gardner

Sometimes, if you’re lucky, there will be a person in your town who makes life more fun and interesting for a lot of people. For a long time in Frankfort, Rick Paul was that person. Thanks Rick - you made Frankfort a better place.

I've been friends with Dylan for 34 years, and his family always treated me with kindness. In middle school I went to the White Light for beignets in the morning. In high school, Rick gave me my first job. In college, Rick gave me a place to stay for the summer when I had nowhere else to go, and he asked for nothing in return. As I've gotten older that gesture has become more and more important to me, and I'll always be grateful for it.

I really didn't know Rick but one couldn't live in Frankfort and not know of him. I will say that one of my shining moments was when he asked, "Who made this?" at one of the Franfort High plays. I admitted to making the chess bars. He wanted to know if I used real butter. Of course I did! It may be my only claim to fame. I am really sorry for the family's loss of one so dear, especially you, Dylan.
