Posts to the tribute of Harold Wilkins

Harold was a special friend. We began our friendship at Murray State. A memorable trip with Harold from Murray to his home in Brewers. A modest home, full of freshly ironed clothes and his Mom and brothers and sisters. I still remember we had heaping bowls of beans and cornbread. Afterwards we stopped for a pickup basketball with local boys. When my wife and I came home from Germany, we looked up at the train station and saw Harold, Martha and Karen there in Frankfurt to see us off. So appreciative and I’ll never forget it. After Martha passed , he visited us in Florida, a bit of a lost soul but recovering quickly by being interested and kind to others. I’ll never forget my friend.
