Kemmery Ann Edgington Banta, 57, passed away peacefully at her home in Frankfort, Kentucky on August 6, 2021 after a battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Capital City Christian Church at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 14th. Visitation will also be held at Capital City Christian Church from 5:00 pm – 7:00pm Friday, August 13th and 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday, August 14th. Ann was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. She grew up in Findlay, Ohio and lived in Columbus, Ohio for years before moving to Frankfort, Kentucky where she raised her two sons, Jared and Joshua. Ann worked as a stenographer her entire career in both local and federal government positions. She loved animals, especially her beloved dogs, Jibe and Gracie. Ann was an avid softball player and loved watching college football, especially her favorite college team - The Ohio State University. GO BUCKS! Some of Ann’s most enjoyable times were spent on the water, basking in the sun and/or walking the beaches with family and friends. She loved dancing and singing and found peace, comfort and understanding through music. She loved to travel and explore places in the sun.
