Marjorie L. Sutton, 85, widow of Guyles E. Sutton, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 in Cadiz, Ky. Born in Mortonsville, Ky. on December 11, 1929, Marjorie was the daughter of the late John Herman and Bessie Lee Christerson. A graduate of Kavanaugh High School in Lawrenceburg and Fugazzi Business College in Louisville, she worked in state government as an administrative assistant in the Departments of Child Welfare and Agriculture. She resided in Lawrenceburg from 1953-1965. A member of the First Christian Church, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, embroidery, and crochet. Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Karen Shryock Clement (Richard G. Clement); a step-daughter, Judith Sutton Hartweck; a sister, Juanita Shryock; three brothers, Cecil Christerson, Bobby Christerson, and Tom Christerson; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Services will be held in the First Christian Church, 316 Ann Street, Frankfort at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with visitation preceding at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will also be held at Rogers Funeral Home, 507 West 2nd Street, Frankfort from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Frankfort Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Christerson, Tom Christerson, Bob Clement, Graham Griffith, Herman Hartweck, Bobby Shyrock, and Mike Shryock.
