Obituary of Dennis Perry

Dennis Clancy Perry was born October 20, 1984 in Muskegon, Michigan. He died February 28, 2025.  Dennis was the innocent victim of gun violence from a long range rifle and did not suffer being unaware of the catastrophic wound to the back of his head. Dennis was a positive, hardworking, generous, outgoing and a loving father. This 40 year old friend to everyone had a degree in culinary and was a quality supervisor and part time chef. He is survived by his four children, Gabriel, Trinity, Judah, and Silas; his granddaughter SarahAnne; his parents James Jr. and Janette; his brothers Nicholas, Matthew, and Alexander; as well as his grandfather, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews over multiple states.   Dennis grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised his family in Kentucky. He was married to Sarah (born Barkie) Perry for 20 years.  Dennis believed in living life fully, recent examples are a trips to France followed by a ski trip. He enjoyed running, riding his motorcycle, playing basketball, hiking, nature, cooking, and playing video games, board games, and NERTS with family and friends.  He was training for a a future Ironman.   Dennis is loved and will be eternally missed by his family who remember him as a pillar of family values, strength, and love.  There will be celebration of life ceremonies in Kentucky, Ohio, and Michigan. If you are reading this Dennis would want you to carry on his love of life.
