Obituary of Ben Perkins

Ronald Benjamin “Ben” Perkins passed away on April 8, 2025 from the cancer he had bravely battled for so long. He was born in Frankfort on October 1, 1975 and attended Peaks Mill School and Franklin County High School. He was a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and spending time with Banjo, his dog and best friend. He is survived by his father and step-mother, John and Karen Perkins, and was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Sue Perkins. He is also survived by three daughters, Bailey, VIctoria, and Kitty Sue; three sons, BJ, Zachary, and Ethan; and two brothers, John II “Jay” and Patrick. Ben will be missed by special friends Liz Perry and April Combs, as well as so many who showered him with prayers during his battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory are suggested to the American Cancer Society. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date. May he rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.
