Obituary of Ronald Ross, Jr.

Ronald Ross, Jr, 78, husband of Pamela Ross, passed away April 3, 2025. Born to Della Daly Ross and Ronald Ross, Sr. in Flint, Michigan on October 28, 1946, Ron was an Army veteran, serving as an MP and earning the rank of Sergeant. He later worked for Bank of America, Prudential Insurance, and Old Dominion Freight Lines (sales), and was a minister with the Community of Christ Church. He had served as President of Jaycees, a mediator for the Better Business Bureau, President of Brookridge HOA, a Board member for Brookridge Golf Association, and a financial officer for the Northeast US Community of Christ (Bishop). Ron had a passion for helping others, and enjoyed golfing, gardening, and traveling. Ron is survived by his wife Pam; sons James Ross (Kathryn), Michael Ross (Kate), and Paul Ross (Marsha); sisters Barbara Bechtel and Linda Hartman; and grandchildren Connor, Izzy, Maddy, Liam, Kalleigh, and Kam. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 29th at the Yew Dell Botanical Gardens, 6220 Old LaGrange Road, Crestwood, Ky. A time of gathering and visitation will begin at 4:00 pm. No entrance fee will be charged. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ron’s memory may be made to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22009.
