Continued prayers and lots of love from Cincinnati! We truly enjoyed every moment we were blessed to be around Carla. From K State homecomings to Thanksgiving dinners, I absolutely loved to hear her laugh. My heart goes out to Malachi, may he always remember his mother’s love. Rest well sweetheart.

Carla was a pure kind soul who never left you feeling alone or sad!! Although I hadn’t seen her since our college days in class I sure kept up with her smiling face and infectious love for people on face book. Always a friend and never a harsh word to say for anyone. Thank you for being my friend and listening when I needed you girl. RIP beautiful lady. You will be missed!!

A: I will never forget how sweet, loving and kind Carla was to me and my family. She is my granddaughter’s aunt. She loved BIG! She had her faults but don’t we all? Carla, I will never forget how you made me feel when you were around! You were a good one! I love you! I pray you are good now and I’ll see you again one day!!!!

I remember the countless floats, cookouts and camping trips we’d take through the summer, and the memories we made. Carla was my friend, and aunt and an amazing person that I am grateful to have had in my life. There was never a time I could be sad or upset when she was around, she always had a smile that was infectious. One joke that she made to me when we last spoke, is one I will never forget. Carla always knew what I was thinking because my face would say it all, she always would tell me to fix my face, I always laughed at that. I know that if she were here she’d want me to keep going and keep going after my goals because she always believed I could do anything, so I will do exactly that and make her proud everyday. Thank you to mama Jean for sharing your daughter with me all these years. Love you and miss you already auntie Carla.

Carla was my patient at the Chrysalis House. She was such a joy to work with.
She was def a special person, I will always remember her love to help others and the enormous love that she had for her son.
I have worked there 10 years, and she will be remembered as one of my favorites. ❤️
