Obituary of James Butler

James G. Butler, III was born on January 24, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, and gained his heavenly wings on June 26, 2025. James grew up in Frankfort, KY and graduated from Franklin County High School. He worked at the Market House in Frankfort before deciding to move to Sacramento, California, and later came back to Frankfort after staying in California over 20 years. James leaves behind four sisters and one brother: Lois Butler, Sidney Butler, Margaret Guice, Laura Steele, and David A. Butler and also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins to mourn his memory. He will be joined in God's house with his parents James G Butler, Jr. and Annie L. Butler, and his little brother Timothy S. Butler. A service will be held at First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church on Tuesday, July 15th at 12:00 pm, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. The family wishes to say thank you to all who supported our family and made this homegoing a wonderful day. We love you dearly and will never forget the kindness shown to our family.
