Dorothy Renee “Dot” Harris, daughter of Anita R. Harris and the late Emerson “Sonnie” Harris, passed away on February 21, 2026.
Born in Frankfort on February 14, 1975, she was a graduate of Franklin County High School. Dot loved listening to music, dancing, and calling family and friends to check up on everyone. She enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews and always making sure they had birthday and Christmas gifts.
Along with her mother, Dot is also survived by her sisters Shontel Harris (Walter) and Shimira Harris (Tattoo); nieces Maysia Harris and Mira Harris; nephews King Boxx and A’tayo Boxx; and great-niece Marleigh Harris.
A memorial service will be held at First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, February 28th at 12:00 pm with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dot’s nieces and nephews.
