A celebration of life service for Renoda M. Cockrel, 43, will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Rogers Funeral Home. Visitation will precede the service and begin at 12:00pm until the time of service on Sunday.
Renoda was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on December 16, 1982, to the late Paul Hayden and Donna A. Washington Cockrel. She passed away on April 13, 2026. Renoda is survived by her two sisters, Reedius (Dewan) Lee and Sheridan Cockrel; her four sons, Jeremiah (Kasey) Cockrel, Joshua Cockrel, Jacob Cockrel, and Karter Carter; grandchildren Reign and Reece Robinson; five nieces and nephews Celeste Taylor, Raegen (Jeffrey) Jones, Tiara Cockrel, Olivia Lee, Omari Lee; and a host of great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Washington, her parents, grandparents Joe I. and Reedius Washington, Sr., and several aunts and uncles.
