Steve Stavros Anthony December 15, 1947 – April 13, 2026 Steve Stavros Anthony, 78, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, in Frankfort, Kentucky. He was born on December 15, 1947, in Gary, Indiana. In the late 1960s, Steve made his way to Southern California, where he built his life across Torrance, Westchester, Orange County, and Norco. He built a distinguished career as a Controller in manufacturing, beginning in the steel industry and lending his expertise to everything from paper to juice production. In September 2020, Steve made his final home in Lancaster, Kentucky, where he spent his last years close to the family he loved. Steve is survived by his son, Tyler Anthony, his daughter-in-law Ashley, and his three grandchildren; Asher, age 6, Michael, age 4, and Regina, born March 25, 2026, just weeks before her grandfather's passing. He is reunited in death with the love of his life, his wife, who preceded him in 2014. Raised in the Greek Orthodox tradition, Steve's truest faith was expressed through the way he lived, in quiet devotion to his family. Caring for his wife through every season of illness and hardship, never missing a day of work for himself. He adopted Tyler as his own son at age five, and never treated him as anything less than his own. Everything he did, he did for those he loved. He never raised his voice. He was humble, steady, kind, and thoroughly devoted. Steve loved whatever his wife had loved from NASCAR to raising horses. In his later years, he could be found on the lake, fishing from his boat. Privately, he was fond of model trains, and the quiet thrill of pulling an old coin from loose change; a collector's joy he shared only with those closest to him. There are no services planned at this time.
