Obituary of Donna Downey

Donna Sue Downey, age 74, passed away on May 1, 2026.
She was born in Frankfort on November 30, 1951, to Irene Cummins Tracy and Ralph Lee Tracy, who both preceded her in death. Donna graduated from Franklin County High School and worked for Kentucky State Government. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting afghans for family and friends.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Krystal Smith (Marshall), and her granddaughter, Emma Smith, her pride and joy whom she loved deeply and lived every day to create special memories with. She is also survived by her brother Tony Tracy and was predeceased by her brother Lee Tracy.
Visitation will take place at Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, May 7th at 12:00 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Robert Hutcherson will officiate, and pallbearers will be Marshall L. Smith, Fabian Shields, and Archie Chaney.
