To the family and friends,
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one.
Job 14:15 says: "You (God) will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning." Yes, God longs to bring our loved ones back to life again! It is not like they will be gone forever. There will be a resurrection as you can read at Acts 24:15.
In the mean time, we can have comfort in taking in knowledge of the Bible, which contains God's future purpose for the earth and people on it. If would like free Bible studies, you may ask any one of Jehovah's Witnesses to make arrangements.

So sorry for your loss. During this difficult time, find comfort in God's thrilling promise found at Revelation 21: 3, 4 to soon wipe out every tear from our eyes, for death to be no more , and no more pain these things will be done away. Knowing this promise I hope wiil give you the strength to endure.

Paige, Amy, Mr. Riddell and all family members. Mary was a gracious lady always ready to provide whatever assistance was required of her. My late husband, Bill Patton, appreciated her so very much. She was an asset to our Executive Office in Frankfort during the time that Mike was our Executive Director and afterwards. Bill could always depend on Mary when he called for assistance during his time in the various Chairs and then later as he worked his way through the chairs and eventually the President of our association - The International Association of Personnel in Employment Security (I.A.P.E.S.) and later the name being changed to International Association of Workforce Professionals (IAWP). The last time we were with Mary was during the conference in Louisville, KY - 2006. One evening we happened to be dining in a restaurant near Mary and other members of the staff, Bill asked the waitress to give him the their ticket as he wished to purchase their dinner. He always made sure we took "goodies" to their area where they had tables filled with I.A.P.E.S./IAWP items for sale.
We were not aware that the 2006 conference would be the last one that Bill and I would attend. He was still recovering from open-heart surgery (quadruple bypass) and doing well. In March 2007 he became ill and later was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer - passing on March 20, 2007. Mary and her staff were very helpful in ensuring information was disseminated and an article was published in our IAWP NEWS.
Dear family, please accept our heartfelt condolences. It is so very hard to lose our loved ones, but they remain forever in our hearts.
Mary was such a special part of our I.A.P.E.S. family and a devoted and loyal employee of the association. Mary continued to ensure the association remained intact when we lost the leadership of Mike Stone. She and Mike were a great team.
Paige really stepped up assisting her Mother and our organization was fortunate to have her as an employee as well.
Cherish all the precious memories and take care of each other.
Our thoughts and prayers continue,
Rosemary Ousley Patton (Mrs. Bill)
Joseph Ousley Patton

“The only way to have a friend is to be one”
I first met Mary at the Palm Springs International Conference and we instantly hit it off. As the years went by I started calling her my “little sister” and she called me her big brother”.
As the years came and went Mary and I became even closer. We shared our trials and tribulations as friend do and I respected and looked forward to her advice. We didn’t always agree, as siblings sometimes do, but we always kept the love going.
I have lost a few friends over my 70 years of life, but none has impacted me so much as did my “little sister”. I regret that I will not be able to attend her service, but I know that we both believe in Jesus Christ and look forward to meeting up again in the kingdom of God.
Until then, all my love, your little brother

Paige & Family,
So sorry to hear about Mary. When I first met Mary, she was very gracious and understanding. She answered my IAWP questions without making me feel stupid. She told me that she was there to help answer questions and provide assistance, which she did. I always enjoyed seeing Mary at the conferences.
I know that this is a hard time, but remember that Mary's (and Paige's) IAWP family will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary was an amazing lady who exemplified Christ in every way. She was compassionate, understanding, and could keep a confidence. Her beautiful smile would light up a room. Mary will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace in the loving arms of her Savior.

Prayers for your family and friends. I sat next to Mary at our 50th year class reunion just a few days before she entered the hospital. She was always such a sweet person in school and had not changed. I know she is with the Lord now.
