Obituary of Thomas “Biscuit” Wideman

Thomas Frank Wideman, affectionately known to many as "Biscuit", passed away on Sunday, July, 9, 2023 at 50 years old. Thomas was born in Frankfort on August 24, 1972. He was a 1993 graduate of Frankfort High School and enjoyed playing basketball and football and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of First Baptist Church - Clinton Street. Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Nora Wideman Claybourne and Thomas Frank Bowen; daughters Alexandria Douglas, Ashley Taylor (Jacob), Sidney Wideman, and Jennica Wideman; son Thomas Wideman, Jr.; sister Debbie Wideman; brother Corey Wideman; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Bowen and both maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents. A funeral service in celebration of Thomas' life will be held at First Baptist Church - Clinton Street at 11:00am Monday, July 17th followed by burial in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday, July 16th and 10:00 to 11:00 am Monday. Pallbearers will be Jacob Taylor, Isaac Yett, Aaron Woodard, Lewis Payne, Scott Woodard, and Tyrome McGee. Honorary bearers will be Corey Wideman, William Brewer, John Tillman, Willie Oliver, Maurice Jackson, and James Samuels.
