I am so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. Betty always cared about others, she never failed to inquire how my Dad was doing when I saw her at Good Shepherd. I will miss her sweet disposition, gentle smile, and warm intelligent conversation. The Moretti & Malena families have lost a beautiful friend. Sincere sympathy and condolences to her family.

The city of Frankfort has lost one of its most ardent dog lovers. My family moved into the house next to the Griffin family when I was in High School and Mrs. Griffin and I had an immediate connection to each other over our love of dogs. All these years later, we have mutually mourned our deceased dogs and comforted each other via notes in the mail. I had great admiration for Betty Griffin and will miss her tremendously. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.

Buddy and Leo and family, Im so sorry for your loss. I remember seeing her out with her dogs around the Capitol. She was always so friendly, especially if you let her know you knew her kids. Take care and cherish your happy memories.

Betty is the reason I got involved with our humane society here years ago. We worked together at LRC during one session and became friends. She sure will be missed. What a kind soul she was and always had that special feeling for animals. Peace to all her friends and family.
