Obituary of Warner Rose

Please share a memory of Warner to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Warner Eugene Rose was born on April 14, 1956 in Frankfort, Kentucky. Following an illness, he passed away from this life on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Warner was the son of the late James Carl Rose, Sr. and Anna Mary Childs. After attending Rosenwald Laboratory School and graduating from Frankfort High School, he attended Southern Ohio University. He worked as an auto mechanic, forklift driver, and cable installer, and was a maintenance technician at KSU. Warner was a Jack of all trades, but master of one: auto mechanic. Warner attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, working on cars, and listening to Reggae. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; and he will be remembered for his love for helping people and how much he loved to talk. He was a cherished member of his community and always did everything he could to help others while he was on this Earth. Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Rose; two sons, Michael Fisher, Sr. and Andre Rose; a sister, Anita Harris; a brother, James Carl Rose, Sr.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his companion, Connie Tyson; his ex-wife and friend, Deborah Gross; a cousin, Shawn Hanley; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ebony Annette Rose. A memorial service will be held at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 29th with Rev. Earl Ragland, Jr. officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 875 Germany Road.
