Obituary of Brian Venable

Brian Emerson Venable, 45, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Brian was born in Norfolk, Virginia on January 10, 1977 to Donna Vincent and Gerald Venable. After graduating from Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach, he attended college at Longwood University and Old Dominion University. He was currently working as a loan officer for Stockton Mortgage, where he had received awards for the President's Circle, the Million Dollar Club, and Ky. Housing Corporation's Top Loan Officer. Brian had a great love of nature and the water, which spurred his passion for traveling. He also had a great love for animals; his dogs Zeus and Chloe were his babies. A member of the Frankfort Bourbon Society, he enjoyed bourbon hunting, weight training, soccer, and fishing, and could often be found doing yard work, enjoying good food, and sharing his home with friends. Along with his parents, Brian is also survived by his girlfriend Jennifer Woods and her children Audrey, Ryan, Alyssa, and Tyler; his sister Christine Venable and her children Madison and Violet; and his maternal grandmother Shirley Britt. A time of visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, with a brief service at 6:00 pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Franklin County Humane Society.
