In fond remembrance of Wayne, a true icon of benevolence, warmth and fervor. He was one of the virtuous souls who embraced life wholeheartedly as a son to Anna and a devoted husband to Martha. Yet he shone brightest as Emily's father. A darkness looms over our hearts for his sudden departure but we implore God to envelop Anna, Martha, and Emily in his powerful healing grasp. Wayne will forever dwell within our thoughts and prayers, eternally treasured and missed.

I went to high school with Wayne and then 35 years later I worked with him at Kroger. He was Fun, caring, sarcastic and the real deal. I always enjoyed our late evening chit chats about work, Co-workers, world events, family and our kids. He was the face of kroger. He is truly missed. Hugs and prayers for his family.

Wayne was a terrific colleague at KHEAA. Always willing to help and pitch in wherever needed. It was a nice surprise to see him at Krogers and again always willing to help. I enjoyed our many conversations on a variety of subjects. It was obvious how important family was to Wayne. He will indeed be missed. Condolences to his family. Ted Franzeim

We have had the privilege of working with Wayne at KHEAA. Even with his quiet demeanor, he still packed a powerful punch. We loved razzing him about his frequent trips to get a piece of pizza from Speedway and have included a photo of him returning back to work still eating that pizza. We also loved that he ran the office pool for March Madness every year. That was important to him and we were lucky to have him because he always did a great job! Finally, no one can forget his infamous banana pudding that he brought to potluck lunches. Yum!! Wayne will be missed and definitely not forgotten! I worked with Wayne @ KHEAA for many years and he was always smiling and usually had on his UK shirts! He was such a nice guy and worked hard. Whether at KHEAA or Kroger. I would always run into him at Kroger. I ran into Kroger yesterday and it hit me...Wayne was not there. It was just not the same. Rest in peace Wayne. We will miss you. Karen

So many great memories of our Lady Panther Family and the times we spent together. From summer ball, team trips, to the UK concessions.
