Obituary of Barbara Shelton

Barbara R. Shelton, 77, gained her wings on March 1, 2024 at Morton Plant Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida.
Born in Frankfort, Kentucky on October 11, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Gladys Gravitt Shelton, and was also preceded in death by her partner Debbie Kimball, her brother Wayne Shelton, and her sister Billie Jean Shelton.
Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Franklin County High School and a former employee of Farmers Bank, and she was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and the Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory many friends, especially her lifelong friend Lois Adrio and her sister-in-law and caregiver Carol Keel.
A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 23rd, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Following the service, Barbara will be interred with her partner Debbie at the Bethel Cemetery.
