I didn't know Evan very well, I knew him thru mutual best friends - Mali and Ozzy. Through them, I got to see him often enough to get to know him some. He was always so fun to be around. He was knowledgeable on so many things, funny and kind. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. He was a very good man!

I had the privilege of meeting Even back in 2021 when our friends took a big road trip down to New Orleans. We had such a great time and created beautiful memories. Nobody could fly a drone like him! May he rest in Glory and forever live in our hearts.

I had the privilege of meeting Evan at my gym practicing martial arts with friends that ultimately became his brothers and our “Puerto Rican Family.” Evan is one of the most genuinely good and authentic people I’ve known. Whether he was taking pictures with his drone or measuring a space for “ninja training” he was constantly curious, learning, and seeing life through unique snd refreshing lenses.
Evan could turn on his goofy switch in a moments notice, doing something to elicit laughter from everyone around. On our trip to NOLA in 2021 we rode an airboat, did a ghost tour, and ate amazing Cajun food. On multiples weekends we hiked the Red River Gorge and otherwise explored Lexington and Louisville festivals and new places.
Even in battling the unimaginable, Evan always maintained optimism, positivity, and hope. The lyrics that “only the good die young” holds true. Rest in peace, love, and comfort, Evan!

Evan, I’m glad I got to meet you and we cross path. I meant you through Malakai and Azreal. It doesn’t process my mind that you’re gone. Especially at a young age. Ima miss your silliness, your laugh, your humor, I loved how crafty you were, how out going you were. You were full of life! You will be missed deeply. My heart ached when I got the news. You fought until you couldn’t fight anymore. God needed his angel back home. To your family, my condolences. Hope and pray that God gives you the strength to carry on with life. In the moment of bittersweet. I know losing, a son is not easy. May God give you guys the courage and strength for this hard time as you lay your son to rest. Thank you for the son you guys raised. He was so sweet, kind and loving! I’m grateful I got to meet him. RIP Evan. Love you always. Your dear friend from Chicago, Elizabeth.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Evan?
A: Evan our best friend and brother. He always lit up the room with his jokes that only he could come up with and lifted everyone’s mood. His unique laugh and personality could make even the most serious person smile. He loved his family, friends, and food too! He enjoyed life to the fullest. Never a dull moment with Evan. We love you so much and We’ll miss you buddy!
