Obituary of Lois Towles

Elizabeth Elois (Duvall) Towles (“Nana”), passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 at 11:45 am. Lois was the widow of the late Edgar Vernon Towles and is survived by her sons and daughters-in-laws Michael Towles (June LaDow Towles), Dwayne Towles (Debi Johnson Towles); three grandchildren Michelle Towles, Dwayne Michael Towles (wife Sarah Towles), Brian Towles (wife Christa Towles); five great-grandchildren Alissa Towles, Christopher Towles, Shane Wilhoite, Maddy Wilhoite and Charlotte Towles and three great-great-grandchildren Payson Towles, Layken Towles and Jayden Towles. Services will be held at Pleasant Home Baptist Church at 12:00 pm Saturday, September 14th with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the Owenton IOOF Cemetery followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial controbutions be made to the Pleasant Home Baptist Church.
