Tizeta was such a beautiful and very active Christian. I had The privilege of knowing her for so many years And see her again soon when the Lord of Jesus Christ returns in glory. This Hope brings much comfort to my heart. Death is not the end. There is a wonderful life to come an everlasting one.

Q: Where did Tezeta like to travel?
A: Tezeta, loved to travel, most traveling she did by car. She would always leave on time. She drove to camp meetings in AL, TN, and many other states, and she would sometimes take me and my children with her, she would tell me; “you must be ready at 9:00 a.m.,” and then she would call me at 8:40 a.m., because she knew I would often not be fully ready at 9:00. She would say, “Grace, I know how you are, so I’m making sure you are ready when we get there, you know, Eric doesn’t like to be late.” Even if my children and I were not entirely ready, when she pulled up, she and Mr. Eric would patiently wait in her car. I never once saw her upset because we weren’t ready, and neither was Mr. Eric.. Their patience and calmness, was so uncommon, it was riveting, I would feel so guilty and embarrassed that I made them wait even if it was for only 5 minutes - which is bad, but the way my conscience pricked me would have been less; because sometimes they would wait on me and my children for 10, 15, sometimes even 20 minutes... but they were never chiding nor upset. Tezeta was uncommonly patient, calm, understanding, and always ‘on time’ - except when I and or together with my children were traveling with her, and or with both her and Mr. Eric.
Tezeta was a safe and skillful driver. She drove often from Ky to Canada in the early 2010’s, she would tell me stories of her crossings into Canada and encounters with the US and Canadian Border Agents. She would tell me, Grace, I’m leaving at 5:30 a.m. and if I call her at 8:00 a.m. and say, how far are you? She would say, something to the effect: “I’m nearing Cleveland, I LEFT AT 5:30 like I planned” I received that as her indirect way of telling me; “Always be on time” Since 2021, as I began to get on interstates traveling long journeys, I always think of Tezeta, and how brave and stellar she was in driving, and whenever I get despondent of my long trips, I think to myself: “Tezeta did it, …so can I”. I will always cherish those many occasions spent traveling with Tezeta. She was a road Angel, and oh boy, her car and Mr. Eric’s are always Spotless - one could eat from the floorboards.

I remember how kind and genuine Tezeta was to me and my family. When we had very little. The contributions from her and her husband meant the world to us. Today a saint has left this world , but tomorrow a angel will arise. May God bless her family and those whom she left behind.

Tezeta will be remembered by me for her electrifying smile that showed no false pretenses! When she was happy you knew it! Also her love for Eric, her husband and her daughters Rahel and Astaire was so genuine!

Tezeta, my dearest, truest friend, and confidant: this Powerful Word from our Beloved LORD JESUS CHRIST, you'd always quote to me exactly as IT IS WRITTEN in Psalms 34:19: "Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all."
Well, in reverse; on September 10th, 2024; the Spirit of our LORD GOD reminded me of this; one of your favorite Bible texts: to remind you, and to confirm that "you are Righteous, and that you SHALL see JESUS on that great getting up day." I am thankful, to have so shared this with you, as we prayed. And though we your loved ones; do not mourn as those that have no hope; there will always be a void in my heart, each time I think of you; a space noone will ever take. I miss you Tezeta. My children are saddened at your passing. You were more than my dearest friend, you were as like a second mother. Now, I pray earnestly for our Savior to return soon, and not tarry, so we your loved ones will be reunited with you - my adopted mother and truest dear friend.
For you dear Tezeta, adjectives are not enough to describe your character: You are kind, compassionate, caring, loving, honest, neat, clean, forgiving, just to name a few... Tezeta, I Love You; and though we didn't say it often, I know you do too. Meet you in heaven!
Your friend Grace, and her children: Mikhalya, Khaley, Joseph and Faith.
