There was nobody on earth like Mother Jones and so glad to have had her in our church and our lives. While she rests in Jesus, we look forward to seeing her again. In the meantime, may these words encourage her family and friends...
Sunshine & Rain
In this life of good and bad,
It is still a gift.
The time we share together,
Is still time that we had.
While we can never really change what has been done,
There are unlimited possibilities of what we can become.
Everyday is a toss up between sunshine and rain,
We never know which will be until it begins.
There is something that sun and rain have in common.
They both come from a place above us.
And because of Christ, that place is no longer beyond us!
God's goal in the sun and rain is to get us to look in the same direction - up!
He is above it all, so He is Lord of all.
Mother Jones knew Him, trusted Him, and lived for Him.
By His grace, she rests.
By His life, she'll rise.
Sunshine and rain, you are not alone.
Umbrella or smiles, God's on the throne,
May His love, be your own!
