Charles Douglas "Pete" McKinney, 66, husband of Bonnie Roe McKinney, passed away Friday morning.
Born in Frankfort on October 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Marion Wallace and Inetta Hazlett McKinney and worked most of his life as a truck driver.
Along with his wife, Mr. McKinney is survived by three sons, Charles Jr., Troy, and Mark; two sisters, Anna and Patricia; five brothers, Marion, Jerry, Larry, Tim, and Phillip; eight grandchildren, Charles Wallace, Rebecca Massey, Matthew Brandon, Shelby Renee, John Taylor, Mark Douglas, Angela Faye, and Christopher Andrew; and one great-grandchild, Christopher Lee Douglas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille.
Services will be held in Rogers Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m Wednesday. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Rogers Funeral Home to assist with burial expenses.
