I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Martin was a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of meeting him when i cared for his mother. Thoughts are with his family.

Sad to hear another good one has passed on. I worked with him for several years in the old CHR and knew him to treat others with respect even when that respect was not returned.

Martin was one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known. He was positive influence in my life and always a joy to be around. I am deeply saddened by his passing. I suppose that Heaven needed a great Chief Master Sergeant.

You certainly described Martin well as the friendliest guy you could ever meet. I worked with Martin at the Department for Local Government and got to know him away from work as well. A great guy with a great sense of humor. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.

I worked with Martin for many years. Despite being assigned many of the most difficult or unpopular jobs for the Department, he was always kind and courteous and a friend to me in my many year with the state. I will always think of his pride in service, pride in country through his years in the military, and his faith which he wore quietly and with dignity. Thanks Martin for many years of kindness in a world that is not always so kind. Memory Eternal!

"friendliest guy you could ever meet"... so true. Didn't know him on a first name basis, but used to talk with him at Health Services Bldg and at Fair Oaks, even if just for a minute waiting for the elevator or walking through the parking lot. Always optimistic words for everyone. Good fellow.

I am so sorry to hear of Martin's passing. He was one of my favorite people. I worked with him for 15 plus years in what used to be MHMR. I will be out of town and not able to attend services but my love and prayers will be with Martin's family.
