Jane Rogers Webster of Frankfort, Kentucky peacefully went to rest on August 31st of 2013. She was born Jane Dare Rogers, September 24, 1936, daughter of the late Harry and Stella Rogers of Richmond, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Kirksville High School and Kentucky State University, and spent many years teaching the young people of the community. She was a member of South Frankfort Presbyterian Church, and thoroughly enjoyed her activities and good friends at the Frankfort Senior Activity Center. She is survived by three sons, Ken Webster of Charlotte, NC; Gene Whitaker (Denise) of Danville, IN, and Tommy Webster of Covington, KY; and her sister Patricia Hepp (C.M) of Louisville, KY. She was the grandmother of John and Katherine Webster of Charlotte, NC; Ashley Marking Barber, Omaha, Nebraska; Jacob Whitaker, Akita City, Japan; Zachary Whitaker of Mooresville, IN , and Melissa Brewer( Nik), Jeannie Gurule (Zack), and Marlowe Whitaker, all from Newberry, SC. She was also the proud great-Grandmother of four. She was sorrowfully preceded in death by her son, Gregory Whitaker of Newberry, South Carolina, and by her husband of 30 years, Clifford Webster. Visitation will held in Rogers Funeral Home today from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be performed at the Madison County Memorial Gardens in Richmond, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
