Obituary of Raymond Ethington

Please share a memory of Raymond to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Raymond "Ray" Isaac Ethington was brought into the world on August 26, 1942 as the son of Thomas Delbert and Margaret Dee Ethington. He left the world to join his heavenly Father on February 6, 2014. Ray was a widower, surviving the deaths of two wives. He leaves behind his brother, Lee Roy Ethington, three step-sons and many other family members and friends. His love of fishing made for many adventures and stories, true or not. Music was a long-time passion of his as well. He played acoustic guitar and sang, especially 50's and 60's music, with a little bit of country and bluegrass. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Services for Ray include a visitation Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, with a brief funeral service to be held at 6:00pm. His burial is tentatively scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, February 14th at the Monterey Cemetery. The family requests donations be made to Rogers Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses or to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
