Mary Leslie Terrell Marston, 54, passed away Wednesday, February 27th due to complications from a recent illness.
Leslie was born in and died in Frankfort, spending much of her life in Lexington, and was preceded in death by her mother, Georganne Sams. She is survived by her father, James (Jim) Terrell; three daughters, Mary Ashlee, Amy Marie, and Kellee Dee Marston; and grandson Joseph Brice Marston. She also leaves behind two step-parents, Hansford Sams and Joyce Morrow Terrell, as well as four step-siblings, Greg and Derrick Sams, Rick Morrow, and Stacy Morrow Clark. Also surviving Leslie is her partner, Steve Butler.
Services will be held in Rogers Funeral Home in Frankfort on Friday, March 1st at 2:30 p.m., with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Mary Leslie will be laid to rest in the Owenton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Brad Marston, Greg Marston, Steve Marston, Louis Jay Chandler, Rick Morrow, and Marty Luttrell.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
