Obituary of William Francis Bryan

William Francis Bryan, 74, husband of Sarah L. (Sally) Bryan, passed away Monday morning at his home. Born in Frankfort on June 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Lew F. Bryan and Ruby Carolyne Robertson Bryan. A graduate of Good Shepherd School and the University of Kentucky, William was a regional claims manager for Aetna in Indianapolis and an IT Specialist for the Law Firm of Jennings, Wheeler, and Taylor in Indiana. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Along with his wife Sally, he is also survived by two daughters, Melissa Ann Dove (Steve) of Fairplay, CO and Nancy Carol Wooldridge (Tim) of Indianapolis; two sisters, Patsy Gray of Lawrenceville, GA and Carol Heilman (Phil) of Campbellsburg; one granddaughter, Stephanie Renee Wooldridge; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Kelly. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Sandra L. (Howard) Bryan. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 1:00 pm Thursday, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Frankfort Cemetery. Father Charles Howell will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Charles "Chuck" Jennings, David Boggs, Gary Smith, Tim Wooldridge, Steve Dove, John Sherrard, Phil Heilman, and Sam Heilman. Honorary bearers will be the Class of 1959, Victor Evins, Gary Smith, Robert Hale, Robert Taylor, Donald Judy, J.W. Butler, Mary Jay Howser Rodriguez, Peggy Busam Sciantarelli, Mary Ann Pogue Stevens, Ann Bacon Judy, and George Oether; and Marcia Smith and Joe Carrico.
