Stuart, and entire Lines family,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Mr Lines was a wonderful and caring man. I remember well chatting with him at Lines Record Shop after I had saved my lunch money for a new record. He would always council me against saving my lunch money reminding me that, "you need to eat." I looked forward to seeing and chatting with him almost as much as getting my new record. Hold on to your wonderful memories at this time of sorrow.

Mr. Lines had a big influence on my life as a young person growing up in Connersville, In. I have such wonderful memories of going to the music store every weekend. and of how kind he was to everyone . I have often thought about him , and wished I could thank him for all that he gave to me, and I'm sure to a lot of other teenagers, by being able to relate and create a bond with us through a mutual love of music. Rest in Peace, Mr. Lines. Thank you so much for all you gave. SIncere sympathy to the family.

Gary and Stuart,
Just wanted to let you know that I have already prayed for you and will continue to do so in the passing of your dad.
I was blessed to have the opportunity to know , worship and respect him and your whole family while we were all together in Connersville. He had so many friends including us who had the opportunity to work and serve together in the day to day activities in and around his business in downtown Connersville.
He was a honest and true gentleman, friend and respected citizen and will always be remembered.

Thank you, Bob, for always being one of the greatest men I had the pleasure in meeting. I loved visiting your store as a kid and just going in for some good conversation. You were such a gentle soul, and you could always feel that when speaking with you. Save a place in heaven for us , and we'll miss you, dear friend.
Prayers for the family.
Thank you for allowing so many of us be a part of your life.

Your entire family are in my prayers during this time of sadness. I have fond memories of Bob. I started playing the guitar in 1968 and used to buy all my guitar strings and song books from him at the record store. I was one of his best clients. During my four years in the U.S. Navy when I came home on leave I always made it a point to stop by and see him. We were good friends. He was always so kind to everyone, and when I heard a song on the radio that I liked I would go in the store and he would order it for me. I looked up to him as a businessman and strive today to treat my customers the way he treated me. I will forever be indebted to him for his friendship and inspiration. I take great pride in having the opportunity to call him my friend. So sad to hear of his passing. But will always cherish the memories. May God Comfort you all!

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Lines. My mother took me to his music store each week when I was just a child. Mr Lines was such a sweet person and I remember his great big smile. He was always kind and helpful to everyone that came to his store. The world would be a lot better place if there were more people in this world like him. Heaven received another angel. My mom is probably up there to greet him. Prayers to all of the family

Stuart and Gary and families,
Your dad was such a special man to all of Connersville . I've never met a more kind and gentle and giving man like Bob and with a wonderful humorous personality. He had a special twinkle in his eyes and was so helpful to everyone. I was fortunate to know both your mom and dad from growing up in the church and also as a teenager always going down to his record shop. Then when I graduated and worked for Dixons Dance studio, he would always supply us with all the records we needed! You all will truly miss such a guy, but know how well loved he and your mom were! We all shared your dad as teenagers. He had a lot of kids with us too! Prayers and wonderful memories sentYour way! Mary Ann and Wade Gentry
