Obituary of Dorothy Hieatt Milton

Dorothy Mae (Hieatt) Milton, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Curtis H. Milton, Sr.; a son, Curtis Milton, Jr. (Debbie); a granddaughter, Lindsay Jones (Jordan); a great-grandson, Landon Locker; a brother, Carey Hieatt (Lucy); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Louise Buckley Hieatt; a brother, William (Billy) Hieatt; and two sisters, Nancy Helms and Ruby Baker.
Born in Franklin County on July 30, 1926, Dorothy attended Bridgeport High School for three years and graduated from Good Shepherd High School. She was retired from work with the Ky. Dept. for Human Resources and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Frankfort.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Rogers Funeral Home with burial following in the Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Sandy Lacey will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be Garry Caudill, Rondal Dawson, Bruce Dungan, Bob Karsner, Walter Weitzel, and Gleason Wheatley.
