Edna Stewart Dix, 82, widow of Albert E. Dix, passed away Friday, December 3, 2015.
Born in Bellaire, Ohio on May 9, 1933, Mrs. Dix was the daughter of the late Mildred and J. Ward and Stewart. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Dix Maenza and Amy Dix Rock; a son, Troy A. Dix; a brother, Bill Stewart; and four grandchildren, Albert Evan Dix, Stewart Franklin Dix, Melissa Cathleen Dix, and Lauren Elizabeth Maenza.
Mrs. Dix was a member of the South Frankfort Presbyterian Church and spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, and American Saddlebred horses.
Visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. A private interment service will be held in the Frankfort Cemetery on Monday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Dix's memory are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 663 Teton Trail, or the South Frankfort Presbyterian Church, 224 Steele Street.
