Dr. Smith was the absolute nicest man. He had an uncanny ability to make anyone he met feel as if they were the most important person in the world. He never allowed his amazing intellect to be a divide in any conversation with people from all walks of life. Quite the contrary, it was his natural inquisitveness that allowed him to always come across as such a genuine and caring person. He and Mrs. Smith were a "perfect" couple and every encounter with them was fun and memorable. My condolences to Nancey Belle, Jim, Melissa and the entire family. Dr. Smith left indelible footprints on this earth that many of us can benefit from following.
