Kathleen Moore (Joyce) Mauer, 83, wife of Robert A. "Bobby" Mauer, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Born in Frankfort on January 14, 1933, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Noble D. and Louise Weber Moore. She was retired from the Cabinet for Human Resources and Good Shepherd Church, and had worked as a greeter for Rogers Funeral Home. Along with her husband, she is also survived by three children, Ginny Gatewood (Jeff), Barbara Bond (Tim), and Rob Mauer (Gayleen); and grandchildren Chad and Andi Atha, Amanda Coke and Leslie Morris, and Katie and Amy Mauer. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with visitation preceding at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chad Atha, Jeff Gatewood, Mark Barnard, Nick Crouch, Charles Fisher, and Matthew Gatewood. Memorial contributions in Kathleen's memory are suggested to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
