Alberta Bell Ellis, 93, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016. Born in Breckinridge County on February 14, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Eli and Ida Marshall Board and was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Bell, and her second husband, Ray W. Ellis. Alberta is survived by two daughters, Judy Parker (Edward) and Connie Page; two sons, Larry Bell and Jeffrey Bell (Kristen); a step-son, Charles L. Bell; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was retired from work as a Clerical Supervisor of the Records Section of the Ky. State Police, and was a member of the First Christian Church, the Franklin County Senior Citizens, and the Ky. State Police Retirees Organization. Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m Wednesday with visitation preceding at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Don Raley, Christopher Raley, Jana Sanchez, Julie Bell, Robin Schmit, and Joshua Bell. Flowers are appreciated, while memorial contributions in Alberta's memory are suggested to the Franklin County Senior Activity Center.
