Ivaline Long, 93, passed away in Louisville on Monday, April 11, 2016.
Born in Cynthiana on November 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Jackson Long and Hazel Morris Long. A graduate of Bridgeport High School and the Louisville General Hospital School of Nursing, Ivaline was retired as Coordinator of the Ky. Crippled Children's Commission Services and work as a pediatric nurse. She enjoyed horseback riding, basketball, volleyball, and her knitting club.
Ivaline is survived by a sister, Betty Jean Long, and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Katherine Williams and Helen Williams.
Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Friday with visitation preceding at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
