Obituary of Constance "Connie" Louise Jones

Constance “Connie” Louise Jones, 69, joined her heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016. Born March 8, 1947 to Vernon Mosley and Dorothy Shannon Jones of Frankfort, she was an only child. She was retired from Farmer’s Bank after 25 years of delivering service with a smile. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church for more than 40 years where she enjoyed the family and friendships of many. She loved visiting her favorite beach, Hunting Island, SC, with her best friend Joy Brumback. Many a family trip was had in this rustic home away from home. A 1965 Frankfort High School graduate and formerdance instructor/dancer, she loved the arts, theatre, movies, music, and family holiday traditions. Don Brumback introduced her to another favorite pastime, Bluegrass Music Festivals throughout the Appalachia Mountains. She was a loving mother to four children: Shannon Stricklin (Andy), Paul Van Hoose, Tara Toole (Gene), and Nathan Schuller (Samantha). She was also loving “Nana” to 12 grandchildren: Alex Likens, Nick Likens, Lauren Van Hoose , Katherine Van Hoose, Gabe Van Hoose, Zara Van Hoose, Katherine King, Olivia Toole, Chloe Toole, Evan Toole, Mason Schuller, and Isaac Schuller. She leaves behind her beloved Shih Tzu, Paisley Mae Jones. Visitation will be at Rogers Funeral Home, 507 West Second Street, Frankfort, Kentucky from 4pm – 7pm Friday. A Celebration of Life service will start promptly at 7pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am Saturday at Hope Lutheran Church, 1251 Louisville Road, Frankfort, Kentucky, with Rev. Stephen Flynn presiding. Burial will be at Frankfort Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. She will be buried next to her parents and grandson, Nick. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, 3333 Burnett Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229 in memory of Nicholas Kyle Likens.
