I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. Please take notice of the promise at Acts 24:15, which says that there is going to be a resurrection. For this work, God longs to do it. (Job 14:14, 15) May these scriptures bring you a measure of comfort in your time of mourning.

So sorry to read of the tragic loss of your Cody,
Words don't always ease the pain when grieving the death of a loved one , but comfort can be found in Jesus' promise of the resurrection hope, when he will raise up those who are now sleeping in death, restoring them back to life on a restored paradise earth. (John 5:28,29; John 11:11; Revelation 21:4)
There is much Bible based comfort to be found on jw.org

I knew Cody from Camp Calvary. He was an amazing Christian guy who had the kindest heart for people in general. He always had a big when we were at camp and I loved that about Cody. Sorry for your loss!

Cody was an amazing young man, graduated with honors from high school, attended Asbury University where he met our daughter Sarah Beth and they had a wonderful friendship. He could do amazing things in the kitchen with no instructions or recipe . He had a heart of gold ! Truly gifted artist ! He was always striving to be a better person and loved unconditionally. He was not given the advantages many have but he was determined to not let that stop
Him from becoming the man God created him to be. I learned a great deal from Cody and feel blessed to have known him. His legacy for me will be to remind me to love unconditionally, love everyone, not judge, be patient and encouraging, make others feel important and valued and mostly to strive to be the woman God created me to be. I will also try to cook something without a recipe but no guarantees how that will work out . Lol
I send my love to Katie and Logan and Connie and Todd and all of Cody's family that I never had the chance to meet. I will be praying for you all at this very difficult time. Cody is in perfect harmony with our Creator now and for that we can take comfort.

Cody you where a friend, companion, classmate, and a brother to me. My heart is shattered but my soul finds peace that you are now with our Lord and Savior and father. I'm going to miss having you here. I just want you to know that we will meet again my brother. I love all the memories we have made and I will be sure to tell all of my friends and family and future children the impact you have blessed me with and the lessons you have taught me about God. With out you I would have not gotten as close to God as I am today. May you rest in peace brother. Your work is done on this world and I'm proud to see that you have finally earned your wings. Fly high cody watch over all of us still here. I love you brother.
