Carrie Marie "Jerri" Joffrion Oliver passed away Friday, March 17th following a lengthy illness. Born on October 2, 1924 to Joseph and Eugenia Mayeux Joffrion in Marksville, Louisiana, she moved to Frankfort in 1942 with her husband Lawrence Oliver, where she resided until her death. She was a longtime active member of Crestwood Baptist Church.

Mrs. Oliver was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; three brothers, Eugene, Vic, and Jack Joffrion; her sister Verda Frey; and her son Ralph Richard Oliver, formerly of Winchester. She is survived by three sons, John (Janet) Oliver of Erlanger, Joe Oliver, and Marion Oliver, both of Frankfort. She had seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with visitation preceding at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association, or the Franklin County Humane Society.
