Jimmy Hammonds, 72, husband of Joan Gardner Hammonds, passed away at their home on Friday April 7th. Born in Salyersville on July 4, 1944, he was the son of the late Willard and Edna Trusty Hammonds.
Jimmy was a member of West Frankfort Church of God and was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Sue Hopper. Along with his wife, he is also survived by his daughter Hayley Hammonds, stepdaughters Julie Cornn and Carla Woodrum, stepsons Mark and Alan Cornn, brother Billy Shepard, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
